Jessica is currently pursuing her Associates in Arts and plans on continuing her education after graduating this fall at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, NY with a Bachelors in Marketing and Communication and a minor in ethics and diversity. In the spring of 2021 she began an internship with the public relations department of sustainable fashion start up company MNTN Co and is now head of their Influencer Relations Team. When she’s not working, or writing she enjoys reading comic books, listening to heavy metal and traveling (pending COVID of course).

Atticus Leeds is studying at Broward College for his AS degree in Graphic Design, graduating this fall. Near the beginning of the pandemic, he moved out of state to Kansas where his fiancĂ© lives and began taking classes remotely. At 25 years old he already has one bachelor’s degree in History from Fordham University in NYC where he began developing his writing skills. After working hard and saving up he decided what he wanted to pursue art and design. Atticus is excited to work with the Observer to get real hands-on experience in publication design. 
Staff Writer: Leonardo Lopez (he/him)
Leonardo Lopez is a sophomore student at Broward College pursuing his Associates Degree. Leonardo is majoring in Communications, after he graduates this fall he will be continuing his education at FAU. He plans to pursue an editorial position for The Observer. His hobbies are learning languages, sketching, and watching Jeopardy religiously. His interests include zoology, learning about other cultures and watching films. Leo is also a performer at heart with a passion to act.
Staff Writer: Colette Tamburini (she/her)
Colette is currently studying to become a journalist seeking her Associates in Art Degree at Broward College. Once she graduates she will be transferring to the University of Florida to get her bachelors degree in Journalism. She often writes literary fiction while listening to music, and runs a blog as well. She enjoys taking daily walks with her Pomeranian Cooper. Her favorite movies/tv shows include Ratatouille, Rick and Morty, South Park, and Luca. Fun fact: Colette loves to collect books!
Staff Writer: Leon Grenyion(he/him)
Leon is enrolled at Broward College, majoring in Business Administration. In 2006, Leon moved from Jamaica and embraced his new home representing South Broward High School in Varsity Soccer and Varsity Football.   In 2009 he was nominated for Student Citizen of the Month at the Hallandale Adult Community Center, given by the City of Hallandale’s local government. He was also recognized for outstanding achievements in science with the Kids of Character Award. After high school he represented some of America’s largest corporations such Bank of America, Wells Fargo and AutoNation Inc. Now he hopes to be a positive influence for his son Angel.
