On March 4, the long-awaited film The Batman by Matt Reeves was released. The inimitable Robert Pattinson played the leading role. The director promised to show a completely new version of Bruce Wayne and the “darkest” film about Gotham City. Billionaire Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) is called the “Prince of Gotham.”
After the murder of his parents, he became the sole owner of Wayne Enterprises Corporation. Bruce has little interest in a business: he has been catching Gotham criminals in the form of his alter ego, Batman.
The affairs of Wayne Enterprises at this time are run by the butler and an old friend of the Wayne family, Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis). Batman helps the Gotham police maintain order; however, only James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) trusts him in the department. Gordon summons Batman to the case of the Riddler (Paul Dano), a murderer who destroys the city’s political elite.
At the crime scene, he leaves unusual clue ciphers. And to solve this case, Bruce will have to find the killer and look into his past because all the messages of the Riddler somehow come down to him. The new film is striking in its aesthetic cinematography, so it is worth watching on big screens.
The film also features Catwoman, played by Zoe Kravitz. This film has everything you need for a superhero blockbuster: beautiful cinematography, an exciting plot, a dark atmosphere, and a melancholic mood from Nirvana.
The next movie, Everything Everywhere All at Once, is out on March 25. One of the physical theories says that our universe has an infinite number of copies that differ from each other in individual details.
In each of them, a person can become someone different entirely. The comedy-adventure film tells the story of a Chinese immigrant, Evelyn, who learns from personal experience that this is all true.
She gains the ability to experience other versions of her personality. In different worlds, her fate is different: she can live thousands of lives and be anyone – a famous actress, a martial artist, an opera diva, and even a heavenly deity.
However, it turns out that the multiverse is in danger. An unknown creature threatens to destroy the entire set of alternatives, and it is up to her to stop the disaster. Constantly doubting herself, Evelyn decides to devote herself to the fight to save the world.
Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, 2000) and Jamie Lee Curtis (horror franchise Halloween) played the leading roles in the film.
The movie was directed and written by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, who previously worked together on Swiss Army Man, 2016. The film was produced by the Russo Brothers, who directed the Avengers Marvel franchise, so the theme of many worlds is far from new to them.
The Lost City is an action-adventure comedy film directed by Aaron and Adam Nee, who co-wrote the screenplay with Oren Ozil and Dana Fox, based on a story by Seth Gordon, hits theaters also on March 25.
The movie stars are Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, and Brad Pitt.
The main character of the film is a writer, Loretta Sage. Her favorite genre is romance novels, which always occur in some unusual places. The main hero of her works is Dash, a thief of women’s hearts and just a handsome guy. His prototype in real life is the model Alan, who embodies the book character on the cover.
During the next tour to present a new book, the writer Loretta Sage meets a billionaire. Soon he kidnaps her and takes her to the island. The man is sure that she knows something about the treasures are hidden in the lost city – the events of her last book take place there.
Meanwhile, Alan wants to prove that he is not just a pretty picture but also a savior. He goes into the jungle to get Loretta out of a trap, but in the end, they end up together in the epicenter of an incredible adventure.
